Why 2026 UTME Original Result Slips Are Yet To Be Released — JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has explained why candidates are still unable to print their 2026 UTME original result slips. In a statement released on Tuesday, JAMB spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, said the board is currently concluding its foreign examinations and making arrangements for the mop-up examination for candidates who missed the main UTME due to circumstances beyond their control. According to the board, the delay is necessary because the UTME is a ranking-based examination, and the original result slip contains each candidate’s ranking. JAMB noted that all pending processes must be completed before the slips can be made available. Benjamin assured candidates that the portal for printing the original result slips would be activated once all required adjustments had been finalised. He appealed to candidates and stakeholders to remain calm and patient, promising that the board would officially announce when the printing process begins.
