Popular Nigerian singer Portable has reacted angrily after losing a celebrity boxing match to Carter Efe, claiming the outcome was unfair

In a live Instagram video after the bout, Portable alleged that the fight was biased. He accused his opponent of using his height and longer reach to his advantage in an improper way, insisting that several of his own punches were ignored by officials. He also demanded payment of about ₦200 million, which he said was owed to him from the event. Despite his complaints, Portable downplayed the importance of the loss. He said personal milestones, like the recent birth of his child, mattered more to him than winning a championship belt. The match took place at a boxing event in Lagos, where all three judges scored it in favour of Carter Efe, giving him a unanimous victory and ending Portable’s time as the celebrity boxing champion. Before the fight, Portable had expressed strong confidence, referencing his previous wins over other entertainers. However, Carter Efe proved dominant in the ring, using his physical advantage to control the fight and land more effective punches. With the victory, Carter Efe is now the new celebrity boxing champion.
