Kwara South 2027: Sola Ajimati Picks APC Senatorial Form

A chieftain of the (APC), has formally obtained the party’s Senatorial Expression of Interest and Nomination Form, signaling his intention to contest the Kwara South Senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections. Ajimati picked up the form at the Ladi Kwali Hall of the Sheraton Hotel Abuja, describing his decision as a response to growing calls for a new generation of leadership in the district. He stated that his ambition is driven by a people-focused development agenda aimed at tackling key socio-economic challenges in Kwara South. His priority areas include community security, youth employment, women empowerment, agricultural support, and rural infrastructure development. Speaking shortly after obtaining the form, Ajimati emphasized the need for what he described as “bold, inclusive, and action-driven leadership.” “The time has come for a new kind of leadership—bold, inclusive, and action-driven.
