Graceland Polytechnic Offa Hails Olofa of Offa on 16th Coronation Anniversary, Commends 16 Years of Peace and Development

The Rector; Dr. Lateef Ademola Olatunji on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff, and Students of Graceland Polytechnic, Offa, felicitates with His Royal Majesty, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II, the Olofa of Offa, on the 16th anniversary of his ascension to the throne.
In a congratulatory message released today, the Polytechnic management described the monarch’s 16-year reign as one defined by peace, cultural preservation, and consistent support for education and community development in Offa and its environs.
“His Royal Majesty’s fatherly leadership has fostered unity among the people of Offa and created a stable environment that has allowed educational institutions like ours to thrive,” the statement read. “We have witnessed his unwavering commitment to the progress of our town and the empowerment of our youth.”
The institution management highlighted several achievements recorded under Oba Esuwoye’s reign, including the promotion of peaceful coexistence among diverse groups in Offa, sustained advocacy for infrastructural and educational development, and the preservation of the town’s rich cultural heritage. The Polytechnic management noted that the monarch’s open-door approach to leadership has strengthened confidence in traditional institutions and encouraged collaboration between the palace and academic bodies.
“Under Kabiyesi’s guidance, Offa has remained a beacon of hospitality and progress in Kwara South. His support for Graceland Polytechnic has been instrumental in our growth as a center for technical and vocational training,” the message added.
The Governing Council and management offered prayers for the monarch, his royal household, and the entire Offa community. They prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and long life for the Olofa, and for greater prosperity and security for the kingdom in the years ahead.
“May Almighty God grant Your Majesty more years on the throne to lead Offa to greater heights. May your household be blessed with peace, and may Offa continue to flourish under your reign,” the statement concluded.
To the glory of God, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye ascended the throne of Olofa stool on May 9, 2010, succeeding Oba Mustapha Olawore. The 16th coronation anniversary is being marked with cultural events and community thanksgiving across Offa.
Graceland Polytechnic, Offa, remains committed to partnering with the palace in advancing human capital development and community service in the region.
