The Nigerian Defence Academy has announced June 13, 2026, as the date for its screening examination for admission into the 78 Regular Course. In a statement released on Tuesday through its official X account, the academy said the test would take place simultaneously across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. The NDA stated that only candidates who chose the academy as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME and scored at least 180 would be allowed to participate in the exercise. According to the academy, eligible candidates will begin receiving emails from May 20 to select the state where they intend to sit for the screening test. Applicants were advised to complete the process before May 24, as the selected states would determine their examination centres. The academy also encouraged candidates to choose locations closest to where they live for convenience during the exercise. It added that details of assigned centres and further guidelines would be communicated to candidates in the first week of June. The NDA reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a smooth, transparent and equal admission process for all qualified applicants across the country.
